The Uxbridge Cemetery holds a rich history dating back to its establishment in the mid 19th century. Officially incorporated in 1907, the cemetery became the final resting place for many early settlers and prominent figures in the community.
Over the years, the grounds have evolved, witnessing expansions, landscaping improvements, and the addition of various memorial elements. Notably, the cemetery continues to play a vital role in the community with ongoing burials, ensuring its relevance in contemporary times. The gravestones and monuments within its grounds stand as tangible links to the town’s past, embodying the collective memory of Uxbridge and maintaining a connection between generations.

The Uxbridge Cemetery Company is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors who oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the property.

Decoration Day is on the 4th Sunday in June of each year.
