INTERMENT RIGHTS
Interment right prices listed below include a non-refundable contribution to the cemetery’s Care and Maintenance Fund¹. The prices listed below do not include the opening and closing of the grave, niche, or crypt (“interment fee”), memorialization costs (flat marker, upright monument, etc.) and associated installation fees.
In-Ground Burials (Includes 40% Care & Maintenance Fee)
Single Adult Grave (1.07 meters x 3.05 meters) $2,400.00

Social Service Interment²

This is the fee paid by Ontario Works for qualified recipients and includes the cost of opening and closing the grave.
²As stated in Ontario Regulation 30/11 s. 164; the cost of $1300 if applicable is for the grave purchase and opening and closing fees. As stated in Ontario Regulation 30/11 s. 89; no money from the mandated fee noted above will be paid into the care and maintenance fund. This service is only available ‘at-need’, and approval must come from the Ontario Works program to show that the deceased has qualified to receive such interment service.

¹Care and Maintenance Fund Contribution:
As required under the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002 and Ontario Regulation 30/11, the amounts below will be contributed to an irrevocable trust fund known as the Care and Maintenance Fund. Income (interest) from this fund is used to cover care and maintenance expenses of the cemetery in perpetuity.
For one in-ground grave, 2.23m2/24ft2 or larger 40% (or minimum $290) of the purchase price.
For one cremation grave, smaller than 2.23m2/24ft2 40% (or minimum $175) of the purchase price.
For one columbarium niche 15% (or minimum $165) of the purchase price.

This fee is charged from December 15TH to April 1ST when burials take place if weather conditions permit interment. The cemetery operator reserves the sole right to determine if weather and soil conditions are suitable for interment.

Care and Maintenance Fund Contribution
As required under the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002, the following amounts must be paid to the cemetery operator before a marker is installed. After each marker installation, the amount will be contributed to an irrevocable trust fund known as the Care and Maintenance Fund. Interest from the fund will be used to cover expenses for the care and maintenance of markers and monuments in perpetuity.
For flat markers measuring less than 1,116.13cm2 / 173in2 $0
For flat markers measuring 1,116.13cm2 / 173in2 or larger $100
For upright monuments 1.22m / 4ft or less in height and 1.22m / 4ft or less in length, including base $200

PAYMENT, FINANCING & FUNDING

For Interment Rights:

An interment right must be paid in full before any burial or memorialization can take place.

The certificate of interment rights shall not be issued until the interment rights have been paid in full.

Payment is accepted by cash, cheque, or bank draft.

There are no payment plans available for the purchase of interment rights; payment must be made in full.
For Services At Time of Need:

A signed interment authorization form & burial or cremation certificate are required prior to any interment.

Payment in full must be made prior to the finalization of the interment taking place.

Payment may be made by cash, cheque, or bank draft.

There are no payment plans available for the services or supplies offered by or through the cemetery.
At this time the cemetery does not offer any pre-need (pre-paid) services for interment fees or supplies listed on the pricelist.
Financial assistance for burial and cremation services is available through various governmental agencies, to those who qualify.
